Listed Roxas and Co. Inc. (RCI) is expanding its 80-room luxury hotel, Anya Resort in Tagaytay.
The company broke ground for the Block 12 expansion which aims to support the company’s in the hospitality business in the area.
“The sold out eight-unit expansion coincides with the Resort’s fifth year anniversary and strongly positions the Roxas and Company Inc. (RCI) subsidiary – Roxaco Land Corp. – as a serious player in the premiere staycation space,” it said.
“It supports the strong demand for the hospitality market as shown in the robust take up of investment villas,” it added.
RCI said Anya Resort’s selling prices rose to an all-time high, though it failed to reveal how much it is selling the expansion units.
The expansion is eyed for completion by end-2022.
RCI meanwhile said that Roxaco Land has also finalized the development plans for its Anya Resort Villas project, set to be launched by the fourth quarter of the year.
The 28 villas cater to the high-end second homes outside Metro Manila.
“Spread over a 1.4-hectare property adjacent to Anya Resort Tagaytay, the fully-furnished units will be competitively priced and will come with a revenue share rental plan option to be managed by Anya Resort,” RCI said.
“The accessibility to the Resort and future villas improved with the completion of the Cavite-Laguna Expressway , cutting travel time from Manila to the property to 1 hour 15 minutes,” it added.
