Bianca out to end slump

STRUGGLING Bianca Pagdanganan hopes to finally get her game together when she competes in the Mizuho Americas Open starting today (Thursday in the US) at the Mizuho Americas Open at the Liberty National Golf Club in New Jersey City.

After missing the cut in three of the last five legs of the US LPGA tour, Pagdanganan is keen on regaining the form that enabled her to regain her tour card with a strong finish at the end of the 2023 season.

Perhaps, the par-71, 6,656-yard layout overlooking the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline might serve as an inspiration for the long-hitting pro in the race for the top pot of $450,000 (around P25.5 million) at stake in the four-day tournament. — Bong Pedralvez
