The TV series “Darna,” will stream this year.
Award-winning director Chito Roño is at the helm of “Darna.”
“Fan ako ng ‘Darna,’ as far as I can remember,” said Direk Chito.
The famed director gets to work for the first time with Jane de Leon, who plays the lead, and her leading man, Joshua Garcia.
“Masarap magdirek ng mga baguhan na hindi pa sikat pero magaling,” the director added.
Another important character in Darna is Valentina, who is played by Janella Salvador.

The movie, “Ngayon Kaya,” of T-Rex Productions was scheduled to be shown in 2020, but its showing, as well as everyone else’s plans, had been adversely affected by the pandemic.
“We never thought it will still be shown,” said actor Paulo Avelino. “Somehow, disappointed kami ni Janine (Gutierrez, his leading lady), as we already saw the movie at alam naming panonoorin ito, lalo nga at nagkaroon na kami ng following ni Janine.”
“Ngayon Kaya” will finally be shown this July.
Janine and Paulo topbilled a series some months ago, “Marry Me, Marry You.” They were also featured in a concert tour in the US with singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid.
People have been speculating for some time now that, though there is no confirmation or denial, there is something more than meets the eye between the two.

Baron Geisler recently received his Bachelor Arts in Theology degree from the All Nations College in Antipolo, Rizal.
His dream now is to be able to lecture in schools about his course.
