THE Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) has selected its official roster of candidates who will compete at the 2022 edition of Binibining Pilipinas at the final screening held at the New Frontier Theater last Friday.
Forty beauteous ladies, a merry mix of mostly pageant veterans from various local and national tilts, repeaters from previous Bibinibing Pilipinas editions and newbies, were chosen from more than a hundred aspirants who signed up for the search.
Among the most awaited aspirant was Nicole Budol or “Hipon Girl” of “Wowowin” fame.
When her name was among the last ones called, the charming comedienne became emotional and was cheered by her fellow aspirants.
Aside from Budol, the other notable candidates are: Miss Eco Teen International 2020 Roberta Tamondong, Miss Tourism International 2019 Cyrille Payumo, Miss Bikini Philippines 2020 Chelsea Fernandez and comebacking “Binibini” Gabrielle Basiano who resigned from her post as last year’s first runner-up to join this year’s search.

The recent inclusion of Tan (#13), David (#18), and Rabe(#20) come after the withdrawal of three candidates who were part of the roster announced during the final screening.
Gwendoline Meliz Soriano, Ma. Francesca Taruc, and Iman Franchesca Cristal filed their withdrawal days after their announcement as official candidates.
The new batch of #BinibiniSisterhood will compete for the coveted Binibining Pilipinas titles in July in the hopes of representing the country in international pageants abroad this year and next.
