Stories of forgiveness, love, hope

In a special episode of “CIA with BA,” host Boy Abunda quoted Martin Luther King Jr., saying, “Not everyone can be famous but everyone can be great because greatness is determined by service.”

This was how the award-winning television host Boy Abunda closed last Sunday’s show, which aired a Producer’s Cut that highlighted stories of forgiveness, love, and hope within families and relationships.

Sibling senators Alan Peter and Pia Cayetano, along with Abunda, helped individuals resolve cases involving family disputes, including issues with in-laws, land disputes, and landlord-tenant relationships. These cases include a mother who complained about her son-in-law; a man in conflict with his brother over their father’s land; and a landlord who wanted to eject her friend from her property.

“CIA with BA” aired never-before-seen footage that showed how the program assisted these individuals in finding resolutions and moving forward with their lives.

“Ang mga natutunan natin… ay pagpapatawad.. pagmamahal. Pinairal nila ang pagmamahalan,” Abunda said of the first case.

“Ang pangalawang kwento naman…  pinahalagahan nila ang pamilya, pati na rin ang respeto at pagmamahal,” he continued. “Ang pangatlong kwento ay tungkol sa pag-asa dahil sa pagkakataon na ibinigay sa kanila at niyakap nila para makapagsimula muli.”

“CIA with BA” continues the legacy of Senator Rene Cayetano, the late father of the sibling senators, and airs every Sunday, 11:30 p.m. on GMA.
