P6.8M shabu seized in Pasay; 4 dealers nabbed

PHILIPPINE Drug Enforcement (PDEA) operatives arrested four suspected drug dealers who yielded a kilo of shabu worth P6.8 million in Pasay City last Wednesday.

A PDEA report identified the suspects as Saint Carlo Binauhan, alias Jimmy; Kenn Andrada; Asima Lakman; and Albaina Pudong.

The four were nabbed in a buy-bust operation at 1:10 p.m. at the parking lot of a restaurant in Barangay Barangay 76, Zone 10 in Pasay City.

The operation was held by the PDEA in coordination with the Pasay City police station, PNP Drug Enforcement Unit, and the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit of the National Capital Region Police Office.

The four are facing charges for violation of Section 5 (Sale, Trading, Administration, Dispensation, Delivery, Distribution and Transportation of Dangerous Drugs and/or Controlled Precursors and Essential Chemicals) of Republic Act 9167 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

PDEA operatives also dismantled a drug den in Parañaque City last Wednesday afternoon.

PDEA operatives conducted a buy-bust operation against Roger Rondilla at the drug den in Barangay BF Homes at around 1:30 p.m.

Rondilla was arrested along with six companions identified as Rustico Gumapon Jr; Niño Dumalagan, Ray Lovicio; Niño Schaenrei Reyes; Francisco Madrid; and Jerry Aala.

Seized during the operation were 15 grams of shabu worth P105,400, drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money.

Police seized P156,400 worth of suspected dangerous drugs and arrested a jobless man in a buy-bust operation in Antipolo City last Wednesday.

Lt. Col. Ryan Manongdo, local police chief, identified the suspect as alias Payat, a resident of Barangay Mambugan, Antipolo City.

Seize from him were four sachets containing more or less 23 grams of suspected shabu. — With Christian Oineza
