AFTER leaving the Manila Marriott Hotel a couple of months ago, Michelle Garcia-Arce is now dedicating her time and energy to her own business ventures.

The former hotelier, president of Salmo Trading and Distribution Corp. which is behind the distribution of Ultrafresh, said the ultra-thin baby diaper brand Ultrafresh has distributed over 20,000 of ultra-thin diapers to parents and families in different parts of Manila, Brgy. Panghulo in Obando, Bulacan; Brgy. Baesa in Caloocan; Bgry. Cembo in Makati; and even to street families.

The campaign is part of the diaper brand’s social commitment and advocacy to help impoverished families by providing an essential for babies. She said, “Our aim is not just for business, but also to create a positive impact in the lives of those families who are struggling.”

“We have a confirmed diaper donation with the Fabella hospital, and moms who are also expected to deliver their newborns this week will be provided with diapers,” she added.

“We’re also in discussions with other hospitals because they will be needing our help when it comes to diaper support.”

According to Garcia-Arce, they plan to hold this diaper drive on a quarterly basis and continue to provide a meaningful impact to society through the business they operate.

The diaper brand believes that quality should not come at a steep cost for households. Its products’ superior function and affordability have thus made it a beloved brand for mothers who wish not just the best for their babies but also the comfort of their families.

The ultra-thin diapers are lightweight, flexible, and designed for tropical weather. It features a high absorption capacity suitable for day and night use and a rapid-acting dryness that keeps moisture away from the baby’s skin.

In addition, its small and medium taped diapers are between 11 to 20 percent less than premium diapers, while large to 2XL sizes are 30 to 40 percent more affordable.

A few pesos of extra savings can indeed go a long way for Filipino families that require multiple packs of diapers every week.

The ultra-thin baby diaper brand has rolled out its Business Starter Pack program for partners who want to earn extra income during the pandemic and participate in the growing popularity of its diaper products.

The Business Starter Pack program, which is priced at P25,000 exclusive of value-added tax, will include all the available sizes of taped and training pants diapers. The retailer also has the option to create their own package.

Under standard retail prices, an enterprising Filipino will easily earn up to P6,180 for the package.

Meanwhile, Garcia-Arce has witnessed the challenges of companies and brands in finding their own voice, crafting effective communication campaigns, and bringing these messages to the right audience that would positively impact their businesses.

With this, she also unveiled Storytellers Marketing Communications Inc., a new full-service marketing agency venture that aims to help brands grow and stand out amid a rapidly competitive business environment.

“It’s about helping influencers,” she said about her new public relations agency. “We want to bridge the gap between the brands, these big organizations, and the freelancers who would like to earn something for their living but don’t have the capacity to make their business legal,” she explained.

Social media influencers are some of the best digital content creators out there. “At Storytellers, we help influencers focus on what they do best and enjoy — creation — by representing and connecting them with brands and organizations which value their work,” she stressed.

Garcia-Arce’s company is also excited to introduce an influencer network that would serve as a bridge between brands and creators, helping generate more opportunities for both.
