THE five-star hotel located in one of the metro’s modern central business districts and premier lifestyle destinations in southern Manila has launched its month-long campaign for breast cancer awareness.

Dubbed Passionately Pink, Arlene Tongco, Crimson Hotel Filinvest City’s new general manager, said this is a meaningful occasion for both the hotel and the company as a whole.
“Since 2017, we’ve been helping raise awareness regarding breast cancer to the women’s health support group Stage Zero by Project Pink,” Tongco said.
Through the campaign, she said the hotel hopes to raise funds to support the group in their mission to provide emotional and spiritual support to cancer patients, their families, and the community.
For this project, there will be specially curated selections of staycation promos, dining offers and special events for couples and families. “Part of the proceeds from room packages and food and beverage promotions will be donated to Stage Zero,” she added.

Pop of Pink returns to the hotel gallery in partnership with the South Arts Festival. This year’s collection of unique works of art celebrating the beauty, brilliance, and resilience of today’s women in the face of odds in these trying times.
Participating artists are Pat Collantes, JJ Duque, Gio Lebajo, Rachel Le Roux, Anna Belle Papas, Manu San Pedro, and Nikki Vasallo.
Melissa de Leon Joseph of Stage Zero has acknowledged another year of conquering breast cancer through collaboration and information campaigns.
“We believe that we can conquer cancer and deter it from overpowering the other aspects of our lives, mind, hearts, spirit, and soul no matter what stage we are in,” she noted.
Carmela Bocanegra, Chroma Hospitality’s vice president for sales and marketing, for her part said that this year, for the first time, “we are making this bigger because all our hotels managed by Chroma Hospitality will be joining the Passionately Pink program which started in Crimson Alabang.”
Bocanegra also said each property will have its own unique offerings to celebrate October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, including pink-themed amenities, dining offers, and more.
“A portion of the funds that we will generate from our hotels will go to our partner group to help them in this amazing program that they have started,” she said.
