Raize is coming
Toyota Motor Philippines Corp. is launching the all-new Toyota Raize, the versatile five-seater sport utility vehicle ( designed and developed to be compact, active and useful both for everyday and leisure on weekends.
Customers can inquire in the nearest dealerships or with their preferred authorized marketing professional on how to get listed for reservations.
The Raize comes in 4 variants: 1.0 Turbo CVT, 1.2 G CVT, 1.2 E CVT, and 1.2 E MT, and starts at a retail price of P746,000 up to P1.036 million. It also comes in fun colors — gray and silver metallic. Red finish is available for the G CVT variant. The Turbo CVT variant exclusively offers two-tone colors including white and black, turquoise and black, and yellow and black.
Bangon Cebu
Grab Philippines has rolled out key initiatives to help drive the ongoing recovery efforts in Cebu.
These initiatives aim to provide Cebuanos with greater access to basic necessities, and support the recovery of local businesses and microentrepreneurs.
When Typhoon Odette hit the country, Grab immediately partnered with the Philippine Red Cross and Ronald McDonald Kindness Kitchen where users can donate to the respective relief operations through GrabPay and GrabRewards Points.
Grab continues to support its Cebuano stakeholders, dedicating its Cebu office to serve as a support hub for driver- and delivery-partners in need of power supply and network reception for their devices. Grab has also partnered with Phoenix Petroleum for dedicated refuelling slots for driver- and delivery-partners.
In partnership with local small and medium businesses in Cebu, Grab is fully-funding a consumer campaign offering 20 percent off on all GrabFood orders until February 2022, and will also provide affordable meal options to Cebuanos through GrabFood.
Grab’s Cebu Operations Team continues its regular visits to MSMEs and driver- and delivery-partners to check on their needs and provide much needed support and assistance.
Grab driver- and delivery-partners can claim their Calamity Assistance from Grab through the GrabCare Package which also includes emergency top-up, hospital assistance, and vehicle repair assistance.
RLC Residences extends relief efforts

The Property Management Offices (PMOs) of RLC Residences’ Cebu-based projects Azalea Place and AmiSa Private Residences led relief and assistance efforts following the damage sustained by the properties from Typhoon Odette.
hrough the help of Universal Robina Corp. food, drinking water, and rubbing alcohol supplies were provided as part of the relief packs distributed to all residents and employees. Cebu Pacific provided assistance by ensuring that all these supplies would safely reach the province.
The PMO also worked alongside Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, through Cebu Pacific, to supply the diesel needed for the properties’ generator sets.
PMOs of each property led the clearing operations to immediately free up the typhoon debris and repair damages.
10-year commitment
Global nonprofit Operation Smile announced a 10-year commitment to increase access to care for 1 million patients who need cleft care and other essential surgeries.
Entering its 40th anniversary year, the organization will scale up its investments in underserved remote areas around the world.
The announcement marks an evolution for Operation Smile, which will continue to work as the leading global nonprofit specializing in expert cleft surgery and care and will focus more intensely on transforming local health systems. The organization’s new vision includes creating expanded opportunities for women in medicine, investing significantly in research, innovation, surgical education, and youth empowerment, all of which are factors that impact cleft care.

Professional services and investment management firm Colliers received certification from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) as one of the monetary policy-maker’s partners for real estate information.
According to the BSP, Colliers has been for more than 15 years one of its sources of insights and data on the real estate sector, which serve as inputs to several of its key reports. These reports provide information and analysis to support the review and formulation of monetary policy by the Monetary Board and review policy strategies used by the BSP to operationalize the stance of monetary policy.
As recognition to its contribution, Colliers has been recognized as one of the BSP’s most outstanding partners for information in 2018 and 2019.

St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC) is now offering Care@Home services to assist companies in providing quality COVID-19-related care to employees.
This program aims to provide immediate treatment for company employees experiencing COVID-19 symptoms.
Through the COVID-19 home care services, patients who need medical attention can schedule a teleconsult with a St. Luke’s emergency room (ER) doctor.
St. Luke’s has been adopting the latest digital technologies to deliver state-of-the-art healthcare to its patients. Teleconsultation, or telemedicine – can be done via video or phone appointments by patients who wish to consult health professionals from the comfort of their homes.
Kabuhayan ni Ani at Kita

Pilmico Foods Corp. and Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (AFI) partnered with the Department of Agriculture (DA) for the “Kabuhayan ni Ani at Kita,” a livelihood program which extends assistance to farmers and farming communities in the Philippines.
The partnership was formalized through a virtual memorandum of understanding signing held last January 24.
“Kabuhayan ni Ani at Kita” will allocate sustainable livelihood kits to select DA beneficiaries in the farming and agribusiness sectors. Low-income Filipinos can start backyard farming through Pilmico’s egg machines and gilt packages, sell baked goods through bakery starter kits, and venture into the aqua sector with aquaponics livelihood kits.
Apart from the kits, Pilmico will also provide technical assistance and training to help ensure the growth and sustainability of their businesses.
Benefit concert for scholars
Security Bank Corp. and Security Bank Foundation Inc. (SBFI) held an online benefit concert last December 17 to raise funds for its 121 scholars under the Regalo Mo, Kinabukasan Ko (RMKK). RMKK is a scholarship program for the Bank’s guards, messengers, janitors, and agency personnel, including their children.
Now on its second year, the online concert called, “Perfect Harmony Volume 2” generated a considerable 77 percent increase in the amount raised for scholars, versus 2020.
Security Bank employees, selected through a nationwide internal talent search, performed during the concert.
SBFI conducted other virtual fundraising activities such as Online Bingo, Virtual Trivia Nights, and Virtual Reality Game Shows.
SBFI also formed a partnership with SB Academy to launch the Learn for a Cause campaign, where a corresponding donation to RMKK was made for every hour spent on learning by the bank’s employees.
