Japanese Kazuo Okada has installed Tiger Resort Lesiure & Entertainment Inc.’s (TRLEI) board of directors after it took control of Okada Manila, a press statement released by his public relations consultants said yesterday.
This follows after Okada’s win for a status quo ante order from the Supreme Court over his tussle with other TRLEI owners since 2017, Universal Entertainment Inc.
The statement said Okada continues to seek justice for him regain his position as the “rightful head” of Universal Entertainment.
“Amidst all the legal wrangling and court decisions that have been handed down by Japanese Courts in connection with Mr. Okada’s unceremonious and apparently spurious disentanglement from Universal Entertainment, Mr. Okada has found a staunch ally in the Philippines with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. expressing support and recognizing Kazuo Okada as the real controlling entity behind Okada Manila,” the statement said.
