INSULAR Life (InLife) recently signed an agreement with YHEST Realty and Development Corp. (YHEST) for the purchase of a prime lot in the Davao Global Township (DGT) and the sale of InLife’s Davao Building.
InLife plans to construct its largest building in Mindanao within the DGT.
DGT is being developed by leading developer in VisMin Cebu Landmasters Inc. (CLI) through YHEST in Matina, Davao City.
YHEST is a joint venture between CLI and the Villa-Abrille clan.
InLife’s acquisition of a prime property lot in DGT will enable it to maximize its plans to further scale its operations in Davao City as it is poised to develop its largest building in Mindanao on the site.
DGT is a 22-hectare estate touted to be Davao’s central business district with sustainable features. It will include future-ready amenities such as communal areas and climate-resilient residential and commercial offices and buildings.
“By establishing a flagship building in this prime location, we are not only enhancing our presence but also investing in the city’s vision of a vibrant, modern business district,” said InLife executive chairperson Nina Aguas.
“We have envisioned DGT as a catalyst for socio-economic growth for Davao and its neighboring cities and municipalities. The ongoing progress of the developments in the estate is a testament that it is fast becoming the business destination and economic hub that would also bring more employment in this part of the region,” said CLI and YHEST chairman Jose Soberano III.
