Eton Properties Philippines Inc. has secured a new contract for office space lease in its Eton Centris, further entrenching the property’s position as one of the top office locations Quezon City.
Eton said all 2,300 square meters (sq.m.) or an entire floor in Centris Cyberpod Five was leased by one of the top business process outsourcing (BPOs) companies in the country, also an existing tenant in Eton Centris.
The contract will run for five years. Eton did not identify the tenant.
Centris Cyberpod Five has 24 floors, with a 42,000 sq.m. of leasable office space. It is one of the last available PEZA-registered buildings in Metro Manila.
“This expansion is a good indicator that BPOs are poised for a big comeback in the forthcoming year. With this, we are expecting office leases to gain momentum as more and more businesses make the big decision to go back to an office set-up. We also suppose that other real estate segments like commercial and retail leasing will start to pick up speed,” said Karlu Tan Say, Eton chief operating officer.
Tan Say said Offices by Eton, Eton’s office leasing business unit, “is also currently in discussions with multiple BPO companies that are eyeing Centris Cyberpod Five in Eton Centris to be their new office address.”
