The Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) said all bills due from March 1 to April 14 will be provided with a 30-day extension from their due dates amid the ongoing lockdown in Metro Manila.
However, Meralco said transactions with the company can still be done through its official mobile app or by using other authorized payment channels.
Maynilad Water Services Inc. said it will temporarily suspend the disconnection of overdue accounts until April 14 to assure all its customers will have access to water during the lockdown.
The company said those who would want to settle their accounts during the quarantine period can pay via online bank transfers and other payment channels.
