The National Telecommunication Commission (NTC) has issued an order allowing the unhampered movement of telecommunication-related goods and telecom personnel within the Metro Manila to ensure the reliable mobile and internet services despite the community quarantine.
The NTC said all telecommunication prelated work force including those who perform indirect services such as the security, technical, sales and other support personnel as well as employees of third-party contractors doing sale, installation, maintenance and repair works and as certified by the public telecommunication entities, Internet services providers or value-added service provider (VASP) shall present their identification cards or supporting certification in order to be allowed to travel and perform the necessary work to ensure the unimpeded delivery of telecom services anytime.
The NTC said all application and renewals for permits, necessary to operate and maintain telecommunications facilities for areas imposed with community quarantine shall be filed with the NTC online and approvals shall be sent to the designated email.
