Astara-led GAC Motor recorded a 274 percent increase in sales in the first quarter, making it the fastest growing automotive brand in the market.
This growth surpasses the industry’s total growth rate which stood at 13 percent during the period.
GAC retail sales stood at 774 units supported by its diverse lineup such as the Emzoom, Empow, Emkoo, GS8, and the latest additions, the M8 luxury van and M6 Pro family MPV.
GAC is on track to have 35 locations by yearend from 26 at present.
With this achievement, GAC Motor International honored the Philippines as the Fastest Growing GAC Market in the world.
GAC Motor Philippines will launch in June the Emkoo hybrid sport utility vehicle, the first GAC hybrid vehicle for the local market.
