Enchanted Kingdom (EK), the Philippines’ premier world-class theme park, is set to elevate family fun as it celebrates its 30th anniversary with the launch of EKlipse, a groundbreaking family thrill ride. The much-anticipated attraction will open to the public on Sunday, March 30.
EKlipse, designed by renowned Italian manufacturer Zamperia, is the first of its kind in Southeast Asia and was recognized as one of the best rides by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) in 2019. This innovative ride reflects EK’s commitment to delivering world-class entertainment and creating magical experiences for guests of all ages.
A significant factor in acquiring EKlipse was its inclusivity features, according to EK President and Chairman Cesar Mario O.Mamon. “We want to ensure that all our multi-generational guests have something new to enjoy with their loved ones every time they visit EK by offering more inclusive rides and attractions like EKlipse,’ Mamon explained.
The ride’s name was chosen through EK’s “Name That Ride” campaign earlier this year. Thousands of fans participated in the online poll, selecting EKlipse from three pre-selected options. The campaign built anticipation for the ride while engaging the park’s loyal community.
Celebrating 30 Years of Magic
EKlipse is just the beginning of a year-long celebration marking three decades of enchantment at Enchanted Kingdom. As part of its “New Year, New Ride” campaign, the park promises a lineup of enchanting events and surprises alongside EKlipse’s grand launch.
Special Anniversary Treats for Loyal Fans
In collaboration with Mercury Drug’s 80th anniversary, EK is offering an exclusive promotion for Suki Card holders. From March 1-30, guests can enjoy PHP110 off Regular Day Passes. Those booking through the EK Online Store will also have a chance to win an Eldar the Wizard plushie and PHP300 worth of Mercury Drug gift certificates.
