The Philippine Hotel Owners Association (PHOA) is promoting and encouraging more investments in tourism and hospitality in support of the government’s aim to position the Philippines as a top travel destination.

Benito Bengzon, PHOA executive director, in an interview on Wednesday, said the group will stage the Philippine Hotel Connect (PHCon) 2025, a platform for hotel owners and investors seeking to capitalize on the Philippines’ expanding tourism market.

To be held on July 24 and 25 at the Manila Marriott Hotel in Pasay City, PHCon 2025 follows  last year’s Philippine Tourism and Hotel Investment Summit.

“The message we want to send here is that PHOA is doing its part to support government efforts to position the country competitively in the global travel market,” Bengzon said.

“We want to provide a venue or platform for players to explore business opportunities whether in terms of upgrades and greenfields,” he added.

PHOA President Arthur Lopez in a statement said PHCon 2025 is a collaborative effort among all leaders in the tourism and hotel industry.

“ Through the contributions of time and expertise from our invited speakers, we are able to provide a platform for premier networking and sharing of various strategies that will allow us to solidify and establish the ever-growing Philippine tourism industry,” Lopez said.

With an anticipated attendance of 250 industry leaders, including hotel owners, investors, developers, and government officials, PHCon 2025 offers networking opportunities and exclusive insights into the latest industry developments.

High-level discussions will be led by renowned speakers such as Kevin Tan of Alliance Global Group Inc. and Mariana Zobel de Ayala of Ayala Land Inc., among other distinguished figures.

The event is co-presented by the Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority and Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp.
