Philippine Airlines (PAL) is increasing Clark-Siargao and Clark-Basco flights to daily services on each route beginning May 1, providing travelers with greater flexibility in traveling between Central Luzon and the thriving tourist hubs of Siargao Island and Batanes province.

“Looking forward to the peak summer season, we are eager to invite more travelers to embark on unforgettable leisure and cultural adventures in Basco and Siargao by flying any day of the week on our direct flights from Clark International Airport,” PAL Express President Rabbi Vincent Ang said. “These new daily services demonstrate Philippine Airlines’ commitment to boost Philippine tourism in ways that support our nation’s vibrant local neighborhoods and business communities.”

In addition to ramping up flights to Siargao and Basco, the flag carrier likewise started daily services between Clark and Busuanga last March 1, and launched the first-ever nonstop Cebu-Catarman services, initially offering three weekly flights starting March 4.

“We are proud to open our new Cebu-Catarman route, the latest investment by Philippine Airlines in building new connections to facilitate tourism, local businesses and economic growth,” Ang said.

“Travelers from Northern Samar may now use PAL’s Cebu gateway to connect conveniently to Boracay, Coron, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Iloilo, Puerto Princesa and Siargao,”  he added.

The thrice weekly Cebu-Catarman-Cebu service is the 22nd route operated by PAL from its growing gateway hub at Mactan-Cebu airport. The flag carrier links Cebu to 18 other domestic points as well as to four overseas destinations namely Bangkok, Tokyo, Osaka and Seoul.

From May 2, 2025, PAL will introduce nonstop flights between Cebu and Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) with an initial schedule of three flights per week every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

The Cebu-Catarman service complements PAL’s existing four weekly flights to Catarman from Manila.
