Newport World Resorts (NWR) has pioneered the concept of the one-stop-non-stop entertainment and leisure destination in the Philippines over 13 years ago.
Today, it continues to expand into a newer and bigger world of thrills as it recently unveiled “Epic Rewards,” a new membership rewards program that is “most powerful, most expansive, and most enjoyable.”
David Jorden, NWR chief marketing officer, said their new program is much, much more about a set of cards as “it’s our promise of incentives, our promise of experiences, and our promise of choice.”
“We’ve elevated incentives. The more you earn and level up your membership status, the more exclusive the rewards get,” Jorden also said.
“We’ve elevated experiences. It’s much more exciting to earn and spend now. The all-new Epic Rewards program will have the highest points in earnings we at the property have ever, ever awarded,” Jorden added.
And more than just being exciting, it brings convenience. If the bearer forgets the card, “our guests can access their app; they can use QR codes; they can redeem their points very conveniently — simple and convenient,” he explained.
When guests earned all those points, this is where they have elevated their choices. “Your points will simply be as good as cash,” he said.
They have created their own currency and called it Epic Points. They have the biggest redemption options in the Philippines, including their very own exclusive store.
It doesn’t stop there. “We’ve got the mall to shop and dine, all of that with your membership card. It becomes enormously powerful, very simple, and very difficult to put away,” he stressed.
More importantly, they have also expanded the reach of this membership program. “We have worked with partners and we’ve elevated our partnerships, so that members can redeem their awards in more places outside the resort than ever before,” Jorden noted.
The Epic Points can be redeemed for Miles with their wonderful partner Philippine Airlines, as well as from other reputable brands.
Kingson Sian, NWR president and chief executive officer, proudly shared that coming from the pandemic, they projected by end of the year, “we would have welcomed over 500,000 international and local guests in our various hotels.”
Sian also said that by next year, guests can literally walk from any part of the integrated resort straight into NAIA Terminal 3 further underscoring the convenience and integrated nature of the development.
He is also stoked as they embark on launching a new era of bigger, better thrills in gaming, shopping, hotel stay, entertainment under one new brand.
