In line with directives from the Philippine government, all Cebu Pacific passengers will be required to wear face shields during the entire flight, effective August 15, 2020.

Cebu Pacific said this is on top of the mandatory use of face masks upon entering the airport terminal until arrival at the destination.

“CEB continues to implement enhanced bio-security preventive measures to keep our passengers and personnel safe. Due to imposition of Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) over Metro Manila and adjacent provinces, Cebu Pacific said that all its flights to and from Manila are cancelled until August 18, 2020.

They, however, continue to operate its Cebu-Clark-Cebe and Cebu-Davao-Cebu routes.

“Local authorities may have specific requirements and regulations, depending on the destination. Guests are STRONGLY URGED to check with the concerned LGU first and select destinations that are closest to their residences,” Cebu Pacific said.

Meanwhile, Cebu Pacific intends to continue operating its international flights to Dubai, Seoul, Tokyo, Osaka and Singapore.

Flights between Manila and Taipei, along with all other Cebu Pacific international flights, are also cancelled until further notice.

“We encourage passengers to manage their bookings online via our website, bit.ly/CEBmanageflight.  Those on cancelled flights may choose to place the full cost of the ticket in a Travel Fund valid for two years; full refund; or opt to rebook to any other travel date within three months, free of charge. If travel is after three months, change fees are still waived, but minimal fare difference may apply,” Cebu Pacfic said.
