Travelling via bus is one of the most popular ways for Filipinos to get to the different provinces in the countries.

In fact, every Christmas season, bus terminals would be packed to the brim with workers in Manila travelling back home to their provinces to spend time with their families.

Those travelling to Bicol and Northern Samar are in for a treat as Elavil Tours Phils. Inc. (ETPHI) receives the first batch of new Scania buses that will ply the company’s Manila-Samar land route.

ETPHI now has 3 units of the Scania K360 and 1 unit of the Scania K400.

These 4 buses will serve as the flagship vehicles and are designed to provide passengers with utmost comfort and convenience and are equipped with state-of-the-art safety systems and smart technologies to improve the driving experience and protect road users.

Another 3 K360 units and 2 K400 are expected to arrive before the year ends.

“It was an easy decision for us as the buses, made by Swedish manufacturer Scania, are known worldwide for their reliability, durability, safety, and efficiency. Not to mention we’ve been very impressed with Scania distributor BJ Mercantile, Inc.’s track record of excellent after-sales service and unwavering commitment to ensure spare parts are readily available,” said Adolfo Lo Villamonte, Chief Executive Office of ETPHI.

The 360 horsepower Scania K360 has a bus body built by esteemed local manufacturer Del Monte Motor Works, Inc.
