Young auto executive joins upcoming SUV brand Omoda

JOHN EZEKIEL ASUNCION, automotive executive, and entrepreneur joins millennial car brand Omoda as its brand manager.

Omoda is a new vehicle brand, targeting the growing millennial and Gen-Z buyers with stunning compact SUVs, with specifications designed to meet the rigorous requirements of its young market.

Before joining Omoda, Uzzi, as he is known in industry circles, was the marketing manager of Motor Image Philippines, the sole distributor of the Subaru in the country.

Even earlier, he worked for Toyota Motor Philippines as group head of strategic planning, product marketing, brand management, and motorsports.

His vast experience in the industry qualifies him to take the role of brand manager for a totally new brand, both globally and locally.

He himself confirmed his joining Omoda in an email he sent to industry friends.

Uzzi is a graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management, Major in Communications and Technology.

He is also a weekend motorcyclist.
