Gerard Jude L. Castillo, C! Magazine’s Online Editor passed away this morning, August 30 from complications due to a lingering liver illness. He was 50.
He has been in dialysis for over three decades. His health, however, did not get in the way of being a passionate motoring journalist and resource person.
In a post on C! Magazine’s Facebook page, Castillo was honored as a committed team member.
“He did his best to not let his health condition get in the way of his professionalism at work, and was always willing and available to help anyone in need of his expertise in uploading content on our website, also making sure it was always on tip-top operational status.”
“His huge contributions to C! Magazine will never be forgotten, and we will always be grateful for them,” the post continued.
Gerard leaves behind his mother Olivia, sisters Marge, Rizza, Jo, and Mich; his brother Anton, and his nephew Gabe.
