If you walked into the World Trade Center in Pasay City expecting chrome-plated supercars doing pirouettes under strobe lights, you were in for a surprise. The Auto Parts & Vehicles (APV) Expo 2025 wasn’t about flexing horsepower—it was about forging partnerships and turning gears in the $1.28 billion Filipino auto parts sector.
The recently concluded event gathered around 200 exhibitors and at least 5,000 attendees.
“The robust growth of the automotive parts industry highlights its resilience and vital role in further strengthening the Philippines’ position in global supply chains,” Sukumar Verma, Managing Director at Informa Markets Singapore, said. The organizer of APV Expo 2025, Informa Markets creates platforms for industries to trade, innovate and grow.
Growing demand
The Philippines’ auto parts industry generated an estimated $1.21 billion (around P66.55 billion at current prices) in export revenue last year. It was projected to grow even further to reach $1.28 billion (around P70.4 billion) in 2025, according to the International Trade Council. The local auto parts industry significantly contributes to national trade growth and reflects the continuously growing demand for automotive components globally.
“The yearly APV Expo is designed to showcase and support manufacturers, suppliers, and all other stakeholders related to the industry,” Verma said. “APV Expo 2025 opened opportunities by highlighting the overall automotive ecosystem from manufacturing components and cutting-edge technologies to aftermarket solutions and all in between.” It featured the latest in auto parts and components, modern logistics and transportation solutions, automotive sustainability solutions, and the newest industry and institutional offerings from global markets.
Gov’t, private sector support
APV Expo 2025 received tremendous support from the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), which showcased 15 PEZA-based manufacturers representing local automotive, aerospace and precision engineering, electronics and communications, rubber and plastic manufacturing, and machinery and equipment sectors. The exhibition also got the support of the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) to ensure that the intellectual property rights of established parts brands are protected and new aspiring brands are registered.
Autobot Offroad PH, the premier 4×4, off-road, and overlanding shop in the country, displayed its modified rigs and launched its latest venture, Autobot Service Center, which was recently appointed as the official service workshop of VinFast Philippines and the official service center of Green GSM taxis. Their pavilion displayed a customized VinFast VF3 and a stock VF7 as well as wheels, tires, parts and accessories for EVs, pickup trucks, and SUVs. Meanwhile, Motolite batteries offered free battery check-up, flat tire assistance, and jumpstart services.
The parts exhibition synergized with PhilBus & Truck 2025, which is dedicated to the bus, truck, and commercial vehicle sectors. This extended the scope of APV Expo with the stakeholders of the commercial vehicle sector by providing a platform to explore and showcase innovations, to share valuable insights, and to network with sectoral and private companies.
Seminars were held, including Ecozoning towards Inclusive and Sustainable Development; Revolutionizing Auto Parts Manufacturing; Lubricants & Coating Surface Treatment; Vehicle Protection System; and Advance Machining and Cutting Tools. Conferences include Fleet Management System Introduction, Regulatory Compliance & Safety, Vehicle Maintenance Management, Road Safety for Motorcycle Riders, Fuel Management and a session on dismantling of end-of-life-vehicles
While there were several super cars, modified rigs and electric vehicles on display, APV Expo 2025 was not organized to compete with other motor shows. It was an exhibition to showcase, promote and hopefully expand the Philippine automotive parts industry to make it competitive in the global market, create more jobs, and boost the national economy.
