CREBA 2025 housing confab launched, Baguio LGU pledges full support

The Chamber of Real Estate & Builders’ Associations, Inc. (CREBA) recently announced the staging of its national convention for the year in Baguio City from October 15 to 17, 2025 in celebration of its 52nd founding anniversary which coincides with the government-prescribed National Shelter Month.

In his message to CREBA members and chapters who gathered in a meeting in Makati City recently, Mayor Benjamin B. Magalong expressed his appreciation for the chamber for choosing Baguio City as this year’s host city for the convention while underscoring the LGUs focus on sustainable housing, responsible development and inclusive growth. Mayor Magalong assured the association of the city’s full support in making the convention “a meaningful and memorable success.”

The local chapter, CREBA Baguio-Benguet Chapter, led by Engr. Emmanuel Clemente has partnered with the Cordillera Autonomous Region (CAR) field office of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) in launching month-long activities, which will be highlighted by conference sessions and a housing expo during the national convention.

CREBA national president Noel Toti M. Cariño said that the CREBA convention in Baguio will not just be a celebration of the group’s five-decade legacy but a platform for defining the future of the country’s real estate industry. “We will engage government leaders, experts, and key stakeholders. We will present solutions. And we will rally behind a policy agenda that puts housing at the center of national development,” the CREBA head said.

Developer Fernando S. Tiong, chairman of the organizing committee, said that more than a celebration, the three-day gathering at the Hotel Supreme Mall and Events Center is a call to action — to deepen the CREBA community’s commitment to building homes, communities, and futures. It is also a time to reflect on our collective mission to ensure decent, affordable, and sustainable housing for every Filipino.
