VISTA Land and Lifescape Inc. is putting up two golf courses and other developments in its 3,500-hectare Villar City as part of the next phase of this visionary hub where economic, lifestyle, cultural, and leisure activities converge

The realty arm of the Villar Group of Companies of former senator Manuel Villar said this next phase marks “a significant stride in its most ambitious and most promising project to date.”

“One year after we launched Villar City, we are now firming up plans for two golf courses, a church, an events arena, a prestigious university, an integrated entertainment complex, a partnership with a renowned hospital, and more road networks to cut travel time across Cavite and Metro Manila, among other features. These components will be spread throughout Villar City to cater to the evolving needs not only of today’s market but also those of the next generation of homeowners,” Villar said.

A collection of lands owned by the Villar group covering 15 towns and cities across Metro Manila and Cavite– Taguig, Las Pinas, Paranaque, Muntinlupa, Bacoor, Dasmarinas, Imus, San Pedro, General Mariano Alvarez, Silang, General Trias, Tanza, Trece Martires, Carmona, and Tagaytay – the new addition to the development list is the group’s commitment to sustain the development of Villar City, said Villar.

The properties are connected by road networks, though some are not contiguous to the whole land plot.

Launched in August last year, Villar City is eyed to become a thriving nexus where economic, lifestyle, cultural, and leisure activities will converge.

“Rising amid 10 million trees, 100 cafes and verdant pocket parks, this burgeoning community will feature modern districts including a CBD, a Tech Valley, university town, and a premier lifestyle hub, along with leisure and recreational facilities meant to nurture health and well-being,” Vista Land said in a statement

“Essentially, it will be a pioneering ‘city within cities’ designed to meet future demands,” it added.

Vista Land said this latest phase of development, in particular, anticipates the expected institutional and recreational needs of future communities in Villar City.

Brittany Hotel in Cavite is the newest crown jewel of Villar City.

“The golf courses, arena, and integrated entertainment complex with a casino will provide avenues for residents and guests to relax, unwind, or stay active. The university and hospital will meanwhile ensure convenient access to premier education and topnotch medical facilities, respectively, without needing to go out of this expansive community. All these will complement the projects previously unveiled and completed in this mega city,” it said.

The Villar Group opened last year the 10-km, 10-lane Villar Avenue, a crucial infrastructure that connects Las Piñas, Bacoor and the university district of Dasmariñas City in Cavite.

Through Prime Asset Ventures Inc., Villar’s privately held power and infrastructure conglomerate, it also completed the P3.8-billion acquisition of the 4-kilometer Muntinlupa-Cavite Expressway (MCX).

“These two roads are critical to ensuring accessibility and connectivity to and within Villar City,” Villar said.

The group likewise unveiled last year its residential project called Forresta in the property, touted as a “city in the forest.”

Forresta is a 119-hectare community being developed by Vista Land unit, Brittany. Its initial offerings include lots with sizes ranging from 857 sq.m. to 1,461 sq.m.

“Brittany Hotel, meanwhile, stands as the newest crown jewel of Villar City. Opened in March this year, this upscale boutique hotel enables guests to luxuriate in indulgences–from well-appointed rooms, luxurious facilities to exquisite dining experiences. It reimagines the warmth and luxurious comfort of feeling at home away from home,” Villar sid.

“All these, no doubt, are a promising start for Villar City,” he added.

Vista Land said close to 900 -ha of the 3,500 hectares in Villar City have been “activated” or developed – areas that are now home to neighborhoods, shopping complexes, and offices.

“We’ve only just begun our work. This will take many years–even decades–to complete. But we’re already laying the groundwork, filling up this beautiful blank canvas to create the new center of gravity of Metro Manila,” Villar said.
