The Subdivision and Housing Developers Association (SHDA) Inc. is proud to announce a transformative new leadership board for 2024, as the organization furthers its mission to reshape the housing landscape in the Philippines.
The new board of officers, governors, and advisers took their oath before the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary, Jose Rizalino Acuzar last January 25.
Leonardo Dayao Jr. has stepped into his new role as chairman following his stint as SHDA’s national president last year.
Dayao brings 25 years of experience working in the real estate industry. He is currently the senior vice president and general manager at Pueblo De Oro Development Corp.
Dayao is also a member of the United Architects of the Philippines Diliman Chapter.
“Our unwavering dedication to the housing industry will continue, with emphasis on housing policy reforms as well as a renewed focus on setting benchmarks in sustainable development,” he said.
Joy Manaog, previously the first vice president, took over as the new national president.
Manaog is the legal director of PHirst Park Homes Inc. and has been serving at SHDA’s Board of Governors for the past four years.
“In 2024, SHDA is dedicated to pioneering inclusive and sustainable housing solutions for all Filipinos. Our collaborative efforts with various stakeholders aim to streamline regulatory processes, ensuring the development of quality, affordable housing,” Manaoag said.
Joining Dayao and Manaog on the Board are Francis Richmond Villegas as FVP; Arnold Leigh Ryan Choa, second VP; Mena Ojeda Jr., corporate secretary; Renelyn Tan-Castillejos, assistant corporate secretary; Clarissa De Joya, national treasurer; Gena Valerie Chua, auditor; and Maya Jazmin Colayco, chief marketing officer.
SHDA’s regional chapters will be led by a team of dedicated chapter presidents: Dennis Leveriza Jr. for Southern Luzon; John Paul Dy, Central Luzon; Anthony Noel, Central Visayas; M. Gen. Rufo De Veyra, Eastern Visayas; Steven Brian Jison, Negros; Elizabeth Belmonte, Panay; Kenneth Yap, Southern Mindanao; and Vivian Vestil, Northern Mindanao.
SHDA has also named a new set of Board of Governors: Maria Eileen Doyle, Rene Ledesma Jr., Kerwin Padua, Steven Tam bunting, Herbert Tan and Cesar Lee Hiong Wee Jr.
The newly elected Board of Advisers are Armenia Ballesteros, Ricky Celis, Bansan Choa, Guiliermo Choa, Raphael Felix, Arlene Keh, Mariano Martinez, Jeffrey Ng, May Rodriguez, George Siy and Rosie Tsai.
