RLC eyes 25% increase in hotel room keys by 2030

Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC) is looking to grow its hotel room keys by 25 percent by 2030 from the current 5,047 keys, the company said in a report.

RLC, through its hospitality arm Robinsons Hotels & Resorts (RHR) is planning to open six hotels from 2025 to 2028, starting with Nustar Hotel in Cebu this year, Summit Villas Siargao and Fili Hotel Bridgetowne in 2026, Grand Summit Pangasinan and Cebu in 2027, and Grand Summit Panglao in 2028, the company said,

RLC plans to convert its budget hotel, Go Hotels, into Go Hotels Plus citing changing customer preferences.

Currently, there are no new Go Hotels Plus under construction in RLC’s pipeline.

But RLC said it will still build Go Hotels where opportunities arises though the company is more focused on building its Go Hotels Plus.

RHR in April broke ground on Summit Villas Siargao, its first resort on the island, set to open in 2026.

Grand Summit Panglao in Bohol is the fourth Grand Summit in the Philippines with over 200 room keys.

RHR is the largest hospitality group in the Philippines with 30 properties and over 5,000 keys. It is known for its diverse portfolio of hotels and resorts across the country, RLC said in its website.
