Pueblo de Oro (PDO) said its projects in flood-prone Pampanga were masterfully planned subdivisions that are situated on higher ground, providing residents with peace of mind and an improved quality of life.
The company in a statement said these projects are Horizon Residences, La Aldea Fernandina, and Park Place Pampanga.
For almost 30 years, PDO has been implementing flood control measures to safeguard its residential communities during the rainy season. Residents of PDO’s subdivisions in San Fernando, Pampanga, have benefitted from these measures since the projects were first developed.
To ensure its developments remain flood-free, PDO conducts thorough flood studies and implements strategic landfilling practices. These steps involve elevating land levels and conducting comprehensive site assessments to pinpoint areas at risk of flooding.
As a result, the subdivisions avoid water stagnation during heavy rains.
Before breaking ground on any of its Pampanga projects, including Horizon Residences, La Aldea Fernandina, and Park Place Pampanga, PDO said it commissioned a comprehensive flood study. The company invested approximately P150 million to elevate a 30-hectare property by 1.5 to 3 meters above its original level, ensuring the entire development remains high and dry.
