The Astoria Group has built two properties for the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Expo (MICE) market to address the emerging lifestyle trends of “bleisure” (business and leisure) and “workplays.”

These properties are Chardonnay by Astoria in Pasig City and Mangrove Conference and Convention Center in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.

Astoria Palawan’s Mangrove Conference and Convention Center is one of the latest additions to the resort’s modern facilities.

The conference area spans 439 square meters  with two function rooms that  can accommodate 200 guests. The main convention hall  has a maximum guest capacity of 450 persons.

Mangrove is equipped with facilities for any  corporate event from  a mini-conference to a grand recognition night.

Since the conference venue is located right inside Astoria Palawan, guests have access   to the  resort and its amenities, including the grand pool, The Pod, the  spa and a fully-equipped gym.

Interiors were designed by  Ivy and Cynthia Almario of Atelier Almario who gave each room a vibrant design with vividly colored and brilliantly patterned wallpaper and chic furniture.

Mangrove also features the Halodome, a circular open structure that houses up to 200 people.

Chardonnay by Astoria meanwhile is centrally located on Capt. Henry Javier street in the Ortigas central business district.

With opulent pendant chandeliers and a 28-square meter LED wall and the capacity to host between 70 to 500 people, Chardonnay by Astoria  can be transformed into a venue for a gala awards night or  a conference, with an expansive lobby to host sponsorship booths and a large ballroom. Smaller function rooms, namely Cabernet and Sauvignon, are available for breakout sessions and exclusive meetings.

Chardonnay is  equipped with all the necessary materials needed for conferences, meetings and expos such as a spacious ante-lobby, two break-out rooms, and widescreen LCD projectors.
