Following the pandemic, ACE Hardware has been adding more sustainable solutions to its lineup of products.
Even before the onslaught of the new coronavirus disease 2019 in 2020, ACE has been offering products like LED lights, energy-saving appliances, water-saving fixtures, lead-free paint and other biodegradable items, including environment-friendly cleaning chemicals.
But according to Bernard Ong, senior vice president ACE Hardware Philippines, its Lawn and Garden has been gaining popularity among plantitas and plantitos who emerged during lockdowns that the company kept expanding the range.
ACE Hardware also added ACE-branded paints that are not only lead-free but also odorless and non-toxic. ACE Hardware also has a wide range of garden supplies like seeds, tools, hoses, biodegradable pots, and anti-erosion coco-coir mats.
Catherine Ileto, SM Retail vice president for Corporate Communications said, Green Finds is SM Retail’s contribution to the SM Group of Companies’ Green Movement.
“ACE Hardware believes sustainable shopping is not only feasible but necessary,” Ileto said.
