Cebu Landmasters Inc. said it generated P1.2 billion from two of the seven towers of its Casa Mira Towers Palawan, in Puerto Princesa, now 85 percent sold just a week after being marketed.

The 480-unit condominium economic housing is the VisMin realtor’s first foray in Palawan.

CLI in a statement said it expects to generate P6 billion from the whole project.  The company expects to spend P3 billion to build the project.

Casa Mira Palawan units are sold at a range of P2.3 million to P5 million.

Casa Mira Towers will rise in a 2.09-hectare property and will offer studio units measuring  20 square meters (sq.m.)  and one-bedroom units with an area of up to 32 sq.m.

Casa Mira Towers Palawan  is CLI’s  15th community. There are close to 18,000 Casa Mira units, horizontal and vertical,  throughout key cities in Visayas and Mindanao.

“We are very pleased that our first venture in Luzon is a success. This shows  there is indeed a broader market for our bestselling housing brand Casa Mira beyond VisMin, and that our company Cebu Landmasters is gaining traction beyond our regions of focus,” said Jose Soberano III, CLI chairman.

Soberano said  Casa Mira Tower Palawan attracted not only local buyers, with majority being overseas Filipino workers and professionals from neighboring localities who want to invest in Palawan.

“This is a strong indicator of important factors that appeal to investors: the development’s value proposition of giving more and its location being close to tourism sites in Palawan,” he said.

“The very high sales takeup of Casa Mira Towers Palawan clearly shows there’s a lot of opportunities in Palawan and we’re looking at how we can further serve the markets in the area,” Soberano added. – Ruelle Castro
