Filinvest City’s Garden City has opened Central Park–the new outdoor events and community center in Alabang.
Don Ubaldo, first vice president for Project Development—Townships, Filinvest City, said Central Park is designed to be a breathable and relaxing space where one can be active and enjoy the soothing effects of nature.
As a city that has long been championing sustainable practices, Central Park is part of Filinvest City’s master plan of providing open spaces that seamlessly integrate nature with city living for a well-balanced lifestyle even within the business district.
The first phase of Central Park, also called “The Great Lawn” is primed to be the convergence point in the city where the open spaces can accommodate al fresco events such as concerts, festivals, bazaars, pet shows, sports, and other related open-air events, especially now that pandemic restrictions ease in Metro Manila.
This summer, the whole community made use of the one-hectare open space for picnics, biking, sports, and jogging. Here, visitors can enjoy the installations found in the park, which include outdoor gym equipment for adults and playground for kids; bike rental services; Moovr PH E-scooters; fitness and sports activities such as Zumba sessions, Flag Football, and Frisbee among others; as well as food bazaar at Central Park’s “Eats by the Park” accompanied with live acoustic bands on Fridays and Saturdays.
All set for completion in the third quarter is the Botanical Garden which will feature an amphitheater or dedicated events stage to set the landmark of the location.
Central Park is within the Spectrum District of Filinvest City and is two minutes away from Festival Mall and three-minutes away from Filinvest Tollgate going to South Luzon Expressway.
Other parks where residents and guests can enjoy include the Spectrum Linear Park, the green spine traversing Spectrum Midway; River Park and Water Garden in Festival Mall; and Filinvest Axis Park in Northgate Cyberzone. Creekside Park is set for completion in 2026.
