The Outlets @LIMA Estate, Batangas’ first and largest outdoor lifestyle mall, has attracted 16 new tenants which are currently in the build-out stage, Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates (AIC EE) said.
In an email interview on Tuesday, Malcolm Santiago, head of Luzon Commercial Operations of AIC EE, said expansion plans of the area are under discussion as the complex has reached an 89-percent occupancy rate to date.
“We aim to build on the success of The Outlets by scaling its shop-dine-play lifestyle into its next phase of growth,” Santiago said.
Occupying 9.3 hectares at Lima Estate, The Outlets has 29,000 square meters of gross leasable area, featuring international and local retail and dining brands.
“Growth continues, with more tenants on the way,” Santiago said.
Sixteen new tenants are currently in the build-out stage including Starbucks, Marugame Udon, Angel’s Pizza, Engkanto Taps, and Lawson, adding to its strong mix of locators that includes Adidas, Nike, H&M, Guess, Puma, Samsonite, Nono’s, and Cafe Mary Grace, among others.
Recent additions include Nono’s, Mama Lou’s, Cafe Mary Grace , Power Mac Center, and Happy Go Department Store.
Santiago said The Outlets has become a lifestyle destination for families, workers, and visitors within and beyond the estate. Foot traffic ranges from 16,000 to 18,000 on weekdays, rising to 20,000 to 22,000 on weekends.
According to Santiago, visitors come from all fronts—a balanced mix of estate employees, families from nearby communities in the Lipa-Malvar corridor, and leisure travelers from across Batangas and neighboring provinces.
He said The Outlets has been rebranded to align with LIMA Estate’s long-term vision of a fully integrated, future-ready destination where industrial, commercial, residential, and lifestyle components work together to create a well-connected, self-sustaining community.
Beyond retail, The Outlets integrates seamlessly into the active lifestyle of the estate, with pickleball courts, a football pitch, a basketball court, and vibrant community-driven initiatives like car-free Sundays.
“As LIMA Estate continues to grow, we are elevating the experiences of our locators, employees, residents, and visitors through integrated and future-ready lifestyle developments. The rebranding of The Outlets @LIMA Estate reinforces our commitment to a seamless live-work-play environment, further strengthening LIMA Estate’s position as the region’s premier business and lifestyle destination,” said Clifford Academia, vice president for operations of Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates.
