Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC) unit Robinsons Hotels and Resorts (RHR) is expanding its footprint with the launch this month of the 100-key Grand Summit Pangasinan in Calasiao, the first in Luzon.
The company in a statement said Grand Summit Pangasinan will be the only branded hospitality property in the region.
RLC declined to disclose the investment cost but said the four-star hotel boasts of 100 well-appointed rooms, including 93 standard rooms, four junior suites, and three executive suites ranging from 38 to 116 square meters (sq.m.) in size.
RLC said amenities include an all-day dining restaurant, lobby lounge, pool bar and outdoor dining area, ballroom, meeting rooms, gym, spa and an outdoor swimming pool.
Set to open by 2027, the 4-star hotel is designed to complement the region’s rich cultural heritage, natural attractions, and growing economic activity, RLC said.
RLC said the Grand Summit is its upscale lifestyle hotel brand, designed for local and international travelers who appreciate comfort, culture, and authentic experiences. It caters to the hospitality market price point of at least P3,525 per night.
Grand Summit Pangasinan joins the growing Grand Summit portfolio, which includes Grand Summit Hotel in General Santos.
RLC said Grand Summit Pangasinan will be seamlessly integrated into its Robinsons Pangasinan Mall complex.
Mybelle Aragon-GoBio, RLC chief executive officer and president, said the expansion of the Grand Summit brand is a key part of the company’s growing hotel portfolio and further bolsters its leadership position in the Philippine hospitality sector.
RLC has 5,047 hotel keys at present, located across the country. It plans to expand its portfolio by 25 percent until 2030, with a focus on premium hotels.
Apart from Grand Summit Pangasinan, RLC is planning to open five other hotels between 2025 and 2028 — Nustar Hotel in Cebu this year, Summit Villas Siargao and Fili Hotel Bridgetowne in 2026, Grand Summit Cebu in 2027, and Grand Summit Panglao in 2028.
