For CES 2023 which ended last January 8 the company showcased its electric vehicle ecosystem including four electric bikes, showed off the VF6 and VF7 and had VF8 test drives, and an immersive experience in their booth.
VinFast’s electric bike concepts were presented for the first time. These new electric vehicles which include scooters, buses and clean energy solutions to complete its full ecosystem of electric products. The four electric bike concepts displayed at the VinFast booth in the West Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Event attendees can enjoy the “immersive room” to experience VinFast’s journey as an EV maker and appreciate a static VF 9 model.

“We return to the CES 2023 with a very special feeling. At the 2022 CES, VinFast announced our all-electric vehicle strategy and our plans to deliver electric vehicles to customers by the end of the year. Just a few days ago, this promise was fulfilled when the first 999 VF 8 electric vehicles arrived at the Benicia port, in California and will soon be delivered to customers,” Le Thi Thu Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of Vingroup and Chairwoman of VinFast said.
CES attendees test drove and rode the VF8 in two special areas around the convention center. One area was for those who preferred to be passengers and rode aloing with VinFast’s product experts. A closed test drive track was also built for test driving. Finally, the VinFast Chauffeur service was made accessible to CES visitors staying at the Bellagio Hotel for travel to and from the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Also at the CES 2023, Vinfast announced a partnership with Vayyar Imaging to enhance driving experience and safety by integrating in-cabin radar technology for the VF6 and VF7 e-SUVs. The technology helps detect and alert when children are left in the car, ensuring a safer journey for all passengers.
“VinFast relentlessly innovates forward and connects intelligence globally to provide its customers with excellent driving experience and uncompromising safety. I am delighted to have Vayyar join us on this journey,” Stuart Taylor, VinFast Head of Smart Services Institute said.
Under the agreement, VinFast will integrate Vayyar’s in-cabin 4D imaging radar technology into VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs. The Vayyar platform will provide competitive edge with classification-based Child Presence Detection (CPD) to protect the smallest passengers from preventable hot car tragedies.
The high-resolution platform’s wide field of view makes it one of the optimal solutions, allowing it to cover the entire interior of a passenger vehicle cabin as well as all footwells and the open trunk. It classifies each seat’s occupant, triggering an alarm only if one or more children are left in the car. Robust in all lighting conditions regardless of line of sight, the technology also ensures privacy by design while preventing false alarms that negatively impact user experience.
“VinFast is one of the world’s most innovative automakers and working together to rapidly deploy Vayyar’s technology is proving to be a rewarding experience,” Ian Podkamien, Vayyar Vice President and Head of Automotive said. “We’re proud to be part of the VinFast story and anticipate great success for the OEM, underpinned by rock-solid safety.”
VinFast continues to research a range of additional features based on the Vayyar platform’s point cloud layer, such as Seat Belt Reminder, Intruder Alert, and occupant classification for airbag deployment that will further enhance its smart electric vehicles’ safety standards.
