Shell Pilipinas Corporation marked its 110th anniversary in the Philippines with the launch of a new formulation of Shell FuelSave, promising enhanced mobility experiences for drivers. The event saw 110 motorists participate in a massive drive at the Clark International Speedway in Pampanga, experiencing firsthand the “Sulit ang Bawat Trip” (Every Trip is Worth It) promise of the new fuel.
Shell Fuels Scientist Tina Jia unveiled the results of five years of rigorous testing behind the latest FuelSave formulation during a special presentation. She highlighted the importance of continuous fuel research, stating, “We need to continuously evolve our fuel formulations because engine technology is evolving. Modern engines work under harsher conditions, at higher temperatures, under higher loads.”
The event was a significant part of Shell’s 110th-anniversary celebrations in the Philippines.
Following the introduction of the new Shell V-Power last year, the addition of the improved FuelSave formulation completes Shell’s “best ever fuel portfolio.” The company claims the new Shell FuelSave offers better fuel economy, potentially saving up to 1 liter per full tank or extending driving range by up to 15 kilometers.
By enhancing the Shell FuelSave formulation, the company aims to demonstrate its commitment to empowering mobility through innovative and convenient products and services.
