MIKE Potenciano’s first MP Turbo Racing Clinic is a go this April 30 at the R33 Drift Track at San Simon, Bulacan.

The race champion-turned-race organizer and trainer has been putting up races and rallies for budding and amateur racer drivers, and has been participating and winning in race events like the Kagitingan Cup ever since “retiring” from active racing nearly a decade ago.

The MP Turbo Racing Clinic will have champions for its instructors, led by the winningest father and son team of Carlos and Iñigo Anton, karting and touring car champion George Apacible , and rallycross champion Joey Jimenez joins circuit and rally champ Mike P. to impart the techniques needed to start a racing career or just simply learn the racing ropes.

The race clinic will have different modules that will concentrate on making the newbies confident with their driving skills for the ROC, circuit and tarmac time events. There will be two sessions. The morning session will be composed of modules for braking, slalom, lines, and driving dynamics on tarmac. The afternoon session will be actual time trials that will involve our Arrive and Drive and Superbattle Shakedowns. Trophies for the winners will be awarded in a separate awarding night.

A P5,000 registration fee will include an event t-shirt, lunch pack, and snacks for the early registered participants,

This can be paid through GCash or bank transfer. Requirements are own car, helmet and gloves. Check out the MP Turbo FB page to join the event. Limited slots will be available to get more track time for all participants.
