To celebrate its 25th anniversary last July Isuzu Philippines went across the archipelago–donating to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and helping the victims of the recent earthquake in Abra.

With the assistance of Isuzu Cagayan De Oro, IPC was able to connect with NMMC which is a government hospital managed by the Department of Health. The state-owned hospital serves patients from Cagayan de Oro and Misamis Oriental where it is located and patients from nearby provinces of Bukidnon, Camiguin, Misamis Occidental, Lanao Norte, Zamboanga del Norte and the Agusan Provinces as well. The cash donation will be of great assistance in the hospital’s continuous expansion to cater to the medical needs of more patients from the region.
In line with their Road to Progress vision, IPC will continue with this CSR project by donating to three (3) more hospitals — one (1) from NCR, one (1) from Luzon, and one (1) from Visayas before the year ends. This CSR project is yet another testament that IPC continues to live up to their tagline “Your Responsible Partner”.

Isuzu Philippines’ relief operation for earthquake victims in Abra Province

In partnership with B.M. Domingo Motor Sales Inc. (BMD Motors) which operates Isuzu Isabela, IPC joined relief operations with the Abra Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) and extended aid to the displaced families in Abra, Ilocos Sur. province after the strong magnitude 7 earthquake that recently struck provinces in northwestern Luzon and adjacent areas including Metro Manila last July 27, 2022.
It has been a week since the massive quake, but evacuations continue due to the impending danger of more landslides and the collapse of unstable structures. The province is slowly recuperating with assistance from different government bodies, international sources, and private companies such as Isuzu Philippines Corporation.
IPC team headed by Imelda Bernas, Administration Division Head, Robert Carlos, Sales Assistant Division Head and Antonio Benito “Butch” Mijares, Isuzu Isabela Operations Manager traveled to Bangued, Abra to deliver relief goods which included hygiene kits to 250 families currently settled at a nearby evacuation center. Hot meals were also distributed to 300 evacuees.
Cherish Lantano, from the Provincial Government of Abra, said they “appreciate donations from private companies who go the extra mile just to give assistance to the victims of earthquake.”
BMD Motors, is celebrating their 45th year anniversary this month of August. Living up to Isuzu’s vision and tagline, they are active in organizing CSR activities.
