HYUNDAI Motor Company is making a significant push in the Chinese market with the debut of several key models at the 2024 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition. The company highlights its commitment to electrification with its high-performance Ioniq 5 N electric vehicle (EV), while also introducing the all-new Santa Fe and updated Tucson to bolster its SUV lineup.
The IONIQ 5 N takes center stage, marking its first anniversary in China after its 2023 Shanghai Auto Show debut. This globally-acclaimed model embodies Hyundai’s advanced electrification technology and pushes the boundaries of high-performance EVs. Hyundai has planned a series of promotional initiatives, including Track Day events and a One-Make Race series, specifically designed to generate excitement for the IONIQ 5 N in the Chinese market.
In addition to its EV focus, Hyundai unveiled the all-new Santa Fe and a new, larger Tucson variant tailored for Chinese consumers. These, alongside the strategic Mufasa SUV, aim to meet diverse customer preferences in a highly competitive segment.
Hyundai’s 1,208 square meter exhibition space features dedicated zones showcasing its latest models, the performance-oriented Hyundai N, and the company’s advanced hydrogen technologies. Visitors can interact with simulators for a virtual N racing experience and learn about hydrogen solutions.
