FORD Philippines has announced positive sales results for the first quarter of 2024, posting a 28 percent increase in retail sales compared to the same period in 2023. This growth equates to a total of 7,531 vehicles sold.
Ford’s core models, the Ranger pickup truck and the Everest SUV, continue to be strong performers in the Philippine market. The Ford Ranger achieved particularly impressive figures, seeing sales increase by 33 percent over last year, with 3,290 units sold. It further strengthened its leadership in the 4×4 pickup segment, with 2,166 units of the 4×4 Ranger variant finding buyers.
The Ford Everest followed closely behind, sustaining significant growth momentum from 2023 by recording a 96 percent sales increase over the previous year in Q1 2024 for a total of 2,713 units. The Ford Territory, consistently popular in the small SUV segment, maintained its dominance by selling 1,433 units in the first quarter.
Ford Philippines highlights initiatives designed to enhance the ownership experience alongside its sales performance. Notably, the Territory 5-Star Care Package offers buyers of the Territory Titanium variant a complimentary 5-year scheduled service plan and emergency roadside assistance, amongst other benefits.
Additionally, a new Battery Program provides customers with competitively-priced battery packages and installation, as well as extended warranties.
“We are off to a strong start in 2024 and we thank our customers for their trust and loyalty, as well as our dealers and partners for their support to enhance the ownership experience,” Mike Breen, managing director of Ford Philippines commented.
Ford Philippines plans to bolster its lineup with exciting North American-built vehicles. The highly-anticipated all-new Mustang will launch in May, followed by the all-new Bronco soon after. Reservations for these models are currently open through Ford’s online reservation portal.
