FORD Philippines is once again making September “Truck Month,” with a variety of deals and offers on the popular Ford Ranger. Customers can enjoy cash discounts of up to P100,000, or take advantage of low downpayment and monthly payment options across the Ranger lineup.
Mike Breen, managing director of Ford Philippines, expressed his enthusiasm for the return of Truck Month, highlighting the festive season and the exclusive offers available to customers.
The deals extend beyond the Ranger, with special offers also available on the Everest, Territory, and Explorer models. These offers include cash discounts, low downpayment options, and low monthly fees. Additionally, customers purchasing a Territory can avail of the 5-Star Care package, which includes a 5-year warranty, service plan, and roadside assistance.
To further celebrate the Ranger and its capabilities, Ford Philippines is launching a social media campaign called #30DaysofTough. The campaign will showcase stories of people whose “tough lifestyles” are supported by the Ford Ranger.
Breen emphasized the Ranger’s ability to handle any challenge, stating, “We are all real tough in our own ways and we believe that the Ranger is the perfect vehicle to help you power through no matter what life throws at you.”
The Ford Ranger has been a key driver of Ford Philippines’ sales success, with a 29% increase in sales in the first half of the year. The latest version of the Ranger is approaching its 30,000th sales milestone, further highlighting its popularity in the market.
Ford Motor Company has also announced Pedro Simoes will come in as the new managing director of Ford Group Philippines, effective December 1. Simoes, currently marketing, commercial vehicle and fleet director for Ford Middle East, will replace Michael Breen.

Simoes will relocate to Manila and report to Yukontorn ‘Vickie’ Wisadkosin, president of Ford ASEAN and Asia Pacific Distributor Markets. He will be responsible for driving Ford’s growth in the Philippines, enhancing the customer experience, and strengthening dealer relationships.
“With proven track record of success in driving brand growth, market expansion, and collaborative leadership style, I am confident that Pedro will be able to lead the team and work together with our dealer partners to further strengthen our presence in the Philippines,” said Wisadkosin.
“We want to also express our sincere appreciation for Mike’s exceptional contributions to the growth of the Ford brand in the Philippines, having led the team to deliver exceptional business results. His personal commitment and engaging leadership have strengthened dealer relations significantly. We wish him the very best of luck in his new role in the US,” added Wisadkosin.
Simoes brings extensive experience in the automotive industry, having held key leadership roles in marketing, brand, products, and sales. He joined Ford Middle East in 2016 and most recently served as marketing, commercial vehicle and fleet director.
