THE partnership of AC Motors and Solar Transport have opened the biggest BYD dealership on Quezon Avenue. This follows the first one in Makati opened earlier this year, before the takeover of Mobility Access Philippines Ventures, Inc. (MAPVI), a new company established after August 11 when AC Motors became officially became BYD’s distributor in the Philippines.
This expansive 4,000-square-meter dealership boasts a spacious showroom, showcasing BYD’s electric vehicle (EV) lineup, including the BYD Dolphin (hatchback), BYD Han (sedan), and BYD Tang (SUV). The facility offers a modern customer lounge and a designated area for new car releases, featuring a blend of green and contemporary design to highlight sustainable transportation.
During the August 11 signing ceremony, Toti Zara, new president of MAPVI told Malaya Business Insight that the Quezon City dealership was number two of “there are ten more dealers we plan to set up within this year up to early 2024.” In his opening speech he mentioned that the partnership will make BYD more accessible to Filipinos and enable them to realize their dreams of eco-friendly transportation.

The opening of the BYD Quezon Avenue dealership marks the beginning of a plan to establish at least 12 BYD dealerships in key locations across the Philippines in the next year. This initiative demonstrates AC Motors’ commitment to green technology and their confidence in BYD’s global reputation.
