A total of thirteen (13) winners
were announced across three cat-
egories at the recently held 23rd Henry Ford Awards: Industry Category, Ford Category, and People and Platform Category. Close to 200 entries went through an extensive deliberation process helmed by a judging panel composed of distinguished educators of communication and mass media studies, as well as seasoned professionals in the fields of digital publishing, photography, audio-
visual production, marketing, and
public relations.

Malaya Business Insight Motoring Editor Raymond Gregory Tribdino won in the coveted “Best Automotive Vehicle Review (Article)” for his piece “Conquering the everyday like a modern-day Kami Rita Sherpa.” He also won in the special “Best Ford Automotive Feature – “Ford Everest 4í—2 Sport: The sports-ute equivalent of a favorite uncle.”
The Philippine Daily Inquirer’s Tessa Salazar won in the “Best Automotive Green Feature” for her entry “The ‘Natural Electrolysis’ of Akio-san,” the “Best Automotive Road Safety Feature – “Mom, my ‘Speed Governess” which is a whimsical take of her mother as a back seat driver and safety navigator and categories and also took home the “Best Automotive Writer.” While the Best Automotive Outlet went to Top Gear Philippines for having the most number of nominations or wins in the awards.
Other winners of the 23rd Henry Ford Awards are: in the Industry Category: “Best Automotive Vehicle Review (Video): BMW R1250 GSA Trophy” by Leandre Grecia for Top Gear Philippines. “Best Automotive Launch Story – The Zenix Hybrid is Toyota’s New Personality” by Vincent Villa for Philippine Star. “Best Automotive Industry Feature – Turning Utility into a Curiosity” by Wowie Go for C! Magazine. “Best Automotive Short-Form Video – Just Imagine How Good this Car Would be on a Behind the Wheel Review” by Jack Gutierrez for AutoDeal.
For the Ford category the winners are “Best Ford Automotive Short-Form Video: Ford Territory First Impressions” by Leandre Grecia for Top Gear Philippines and the “Best Ford Automotive Video Feature – 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor 2.0L Review” by Vince Pornelos for AutoIndustriya
