To be held at Quirino Grandstand tomorrow, August 23

TOYOTA Motor Philippines (TMP) is up to its speed-enticing events again this time not only highlighting its sim racers from the 2023 season of the TGR Gran Turismo Cup (GT Cup) but also bringing in Morizo–Toyota’s champion of speed at Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Festival 2023 tomorrow and the next day, August 24 at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila. The event is free of charge by simply registering in Toyota’s website at https://toyotagrfestivalph.com/.

Morizo is the name used by Akio Toyoda, the former president of Toyota Motor Corporation, when he participates in racing events. He has been passionate about cars and driving since he was young, and he learned a lot from Hiromu Naruse, a legendary test driver for Toyota. Morizo is also the name of a special edition of the GR Corolla, a high-performance hatchback that reflects Toyoda’s vision of making fun-to-drive cars.

Toyota describes the TGR Festival as “embracing the spirit of camaraderie and the shared passion for cars and racing,” creating a reputation as Toyota’s grandest gathering of motorsports enthusiasts.
