GAC Motor opens Sta. Rosa dealership

GAC Motor Philippines, under the leadership of Astara, has continued its strategic expansion in the country with the recent opening of a new dealership in Santa Rosa, Laguna. The 2,300 square meter facility, located on Santa Rosa-Tagaytay Road, is a partnership with Bermaz Auto Asia. It is designed to meet GAC’s international showroom standards and offers sales, spare parts, and service capabilities.

Franz Decloedt, Brand Head of GAC Motor Philippines, expressed confidence in the partnership with Bermaz Auto Asia and the dealership’s potential to bring GAC Motor’s vehicles to a wider Filipino audience. Bermaz Auto Asia CEO Dato Francis Lee also expressed excitement about the company’s entry into the Santa Rosa market.

The opening of the Santa Rosa dealership follows a series of other recent dealership launches across the Philippines, including locations in General Santos City, Iloilo City, Marilao, San Fernando, and Cainta. The company aims to further expand its network to 38 dealerships by the end of 2024.

In addition to its expanding dealership network, GAC Motor Philippines offers a five-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty on all vehicles purchased.

Suzuki showcases commercial vehicles

SUZKI Philippines displayed its commercial vehicle lineup at the 2024 Philippine Commercial Vehicle Show (PCVS), held at the SMX Convention Center Manila from July 18 to 20, 2024. The showcased models included the Ertiga Hybrid GA Taxi, the Carry PUV Class 1, the Carry Utility Van (UV), and the APV GA.

The Ertiga Hybrid GA Taxi was a specially modified 5-seater version of the standard GA model, featuring a hybrid powertrain that combines a gasoline engine with an electric motor for enhanced fuel economy and reduced emissions. This model was intended for display only and not available for sale.

The Suzuki APV GA, a versatile multi-purpose vehicle suitable for commercial use, was also showcased. The APV is powered by a 1.6L gasoline engine and features a robust exterior design. The interior offers ample storage space and foldable seats for reconfiguration, catering to the needs of businesses requiring transport solutions for goods, equipment, or passengers.

The Suzuki Carry, available in PUV Class 1 and Utility Van versions, was highlighted for its robust and fuel-efficient design. The Carry PUV Class 1 is designed to meet the Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVM) standards and can accommodate up to 10 people. The Carry Utility Van offers flexible cargo space and convenience features like a step board and split back door.
