Chery inaugurates new Bacolod dealership
CHERY Auto Philippines (CAP) has inaugurated its newest dealership in Bacolod City, marking another milestone in its nationwide expansion efforts. The state-of-the-art facility, managed by Angs Automotive Incorporated, is strategically located in a highly urbanized area within the Negros Island region, the third most densely populated island in the country.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by esteemed guests, including Bacolod City Councilor Pao Sy, Angs Automotive Inc. Dealer Principal Anna Marie Gochangco, Angs Automotive Inc. Chairman Joaquin Gochangco, Chery Bacolod Branch Manager Ed Baniel, United Asia Automotive Group Inc. Spanning 2,119 square meters, Chery Bacolod showcases the brand’s global visual identity in its showroom and aftersales facilities. It is equipped with multiple service work bays to cater to the aftersales needs of Bacoleños.

GAC Motor expands to Iloilo City, launches MPV
ASTARA Philippines, the official distributor of GAC Motor vehicles in the Philippines, today inaugurated a new dealership in Iloilo City, Western Visayas. The event also marked the launch of two new multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs) for the region: the M6 Pro and the M8.
Owned and operated by Ang Automotive Inc., the new GAC Motor Iloilo dealership is located at 38 Luna Street, La Paz, Iloilo City. The spacious showroom can accommodate up to six vehicles, providing customers with a comprehensive view of GAC Motor’s lineup. The dealership is a full-service facility, offering sales, service, and spare parts.
“The opening of our Iloilo dealership and the launch of the M6 Pro and M8 reflect the strong demand for GAC Motor vehicles in the region,” said Franz Decloedt, Brand Head of GAC Motor at Astara Philippines. “We are committed to providing Ilonggo customers with top-quality vehicles and services.”

The M6 Pro is a seven-seater MPV designed for both daily commutes and long road trips. It boasts a spacious interior, advanced safety features, and a fuel-efficient engine. The M8 is a premium seven-seater MPV with luxurious features such as massage seats, a multi-panel airbag system, and an air conditioning system with fragrance control.

GAC Motor aims to have 35 dealerships across the country by the end of 2024. New locations are slated to open in Quezon City, Antipolo, General Santos City, Guiguinto, Bulacan, Subic, Zambales, and Valenzuela City.
