The promotion, which ran from April to May 2024, saw an impressive 150 participants winning 1 million Caltex Rewards points each. However, the real highlight was the 30 grand prize winners who each received a staggering 12 million points, redeemable for a wide range of prizes, including Caltex fuels, appliances, dining experiences, and shopping vouchers.
Marti Gimenez, from Metro Manila, is the grand prize winner is who expressed his profound gratitude for the unexpected windfall. A loyal Caltex customer for eight years, Gimenez only recently joined the Caltex Rewards program, drawn by the convenience and benefits of the CaltexGO app. He praised the strategic locations of Caltex stations, the fuel efficiency, and the consistently friendly service he receives, factors that have solidified his loyalty to the brand.
For Gimenez, the 12 million Caltex Rewards points represent not just a financial boon but also an opportunity to share the joy with his family. He plans to use the points to cover his family’s fuel needs for an entire year and also intends to convert some of the points into vouchers as gifts for his loved ones.
