PHYSICALLY challenged members of society need a way to move around and Ayala group’s AC Industrials has the right vehicle for the job. The Maxus G10 Assist was recently launched to enable seniors and persons with disabilities (PWDs) to travel in comfort and with ease of entering and disembarking from the van.
“With the G10 Assist, we can help our beloved family members with disabilities become more empowered and mobile, as the G10 Assist opens a world of new possibilities for them. “PWD” can now be enhanced to “PWeDe” as the G10 Assist maximizes transport options and maximizes assistance with a platform for them to live life to the max. Max-madali ang buhay pag may G10 Assist!” Felipe Estrella, President, Automobile Central Enterprise, Inc. said in his welcome remarks.
Automobile Central Enterprise, Inc. is the holding company that takes care of the new automobile brands of the Ayala Group, including Maxus Philippines, the local importer and distributor of one of Europe’s most recognized commercial vehicle brands.
The G10 Assist takes a regular G10 van with all its comfort, power, and safety features, but adds a customized technological innovation that would make transporting the elderly and so much easy and convenient.
The programmable swivel lifting seat is easy to operate, via remote control or even through mobile phone via an IOS app. It has a position memory function, path recover function, path obstacle sensor, door interlock, low-power detection and warning, mechanical manual function and anti-tip protection.
“The G10 Assist comes with the programmable swivel lifting seat right at the 2nd row, conveniently beside the sliding door. This seat swivels to face the sidewalk, slides out and can be lowered down to street level so that the elderly or the wheelchair-bound person can easily take the seat, or disembark,” Maxus Philippines General Manager Reginald See said as he expressed how with the G10 Assist, there is nothing to stop PWDs from joining their family in travels and share memorable adventures.
The G10 was launched last June 5, along with the V80 vans, wherein Maxus Philippines was also introduced as the sixth automotive brand partner under Ayala group’s AC Industrials.
The multi-seater van offers “Max Adventures” for all members of the family. It is powered by a Euro4 1.9L Turbo Diesel Common-rail Direct Injection engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission that produces 150 Ps of power and a 350 Nm of torque, making it powerful yet fuel efficient.
With its “Max Design” philosophy, the 9-seater MPV has a modern and luxurious design, offers spacious interior and comfort amenities, highlighted by four captain seats at the rear, power adjustable seat for the driver and front passenger and flexible seating at the rear to provide a spacious luggage room. It comes with a 7-inch touchscreen radio with Bluetooth, USB with 6 speakers system, a 220-volt power supply and front and rear air-conditioning system.
