Hyundai Motor Philippines Inc. (HMPH) recently donated five Stargazer Premium units to the Philippine National Police (PNP) at their headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City. The handover ceremony was attended by executives from HMPH, including President Jiho Son, as well as PNP Chief Police General Rommel Francisco Marbil and members of the PNP Command Group.

This donation marks the second collaboration between HMPH and the PNP. In 2023, HMPH provided free periodic maintenance service for the PNP’s fleet of Hyundai patrol cars.

“As you know, the Philippine National Police plays a vital role in maintaining peace and order in our communities. Which is why we at Hyundai are deeply committed to providing modern, efficient, and reliable vehicles that can help strengthen the PNP’s operations and allow them to respond more swiftly and effectively to the needs of our citizens. The Hyundai Stargazer is a perfect embodiment of this commitment – combining advanced technology, comfort, and reliability to meet the demands of mobility for public service,” Son said as he stressed Hyundai’s commitment to supporting the PNP.

“These vehicles will significantly bolster the administrative operations of the PNP Command Group and the Directorate for Logistics, ensuring that our logistical capabilities remain seamless and responsive. With enhanced mobility and efficiency, these vehicles empower our personnel to focus on fulfilling their duties to serve and protect the Filipino people. Let us continue to uphold our vision of ‘Mahusay, Matatag, at Maasahan na Kapulisan’ – a modern Filipino Police Force for a modern Filipino society,” PNP Chief Police General Marbil said expressing his gratitude for the donation and highlighted the importance of collaboration in achieving their goals.

“Together, with steadfast partnerships and unwavering commitment to public service, we are building a brighter, safer tomorrow,” Marbil said.
